Every record shown comes from the public National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

What we do not do
An NPI is a public administrative identifier. Dr. NPI Search does not confirm a provider's license, credentials, board certification, clinical quality, insurance participation, or whether they are accepting patients. Where the data comes from
The data is the public NPPES data dissemination file published by CMS through NPPES. CMS is the authoritative source; a provider may have updated their record more recently than our last refresh. See data freshness and methodology for how we organize the data.
