Dr. NPI Search is a free service. To keep it free, the site may display advertising. This page explains how advertising works here and how it is kept separate from the public records we show.
Ads do not influence the data
- Advertising never changes which NPI records appear or how they are ranked.
- Advertisers do not control, edit, or influence any provider's public record.
- Ads are separate from the CMS NPPES data and are not endorsements by us or by CMS.
- The presence of an ad near a record does not imply any relationship between the advertiser and the provider, or any quality, licensure, or endorsement claim.
Clear labeling
Any advertising is shown in dedicated ad areas and is labeled as advertising. We do not disguise ads as search results, records, or site controls. If we ever add sponsored or affiliate placements, they will be clearly labeled as such.
Third-party ad providers
Ads may be served by third-party advertising partners that can use cookies or similar technologies to measure and serve advertising. How those technologies are used, and your choices, are described in our privacy policy. If personalized advertising is offered in regions that require consent, we will request consent through a compliant mechanism before personalized ads are served.
No medical or quality claims
Advertising on Dr. NPI Search does not constitute medical advice or a recommendation. An NPI record is a public administrative identifier and does not verify licensure, credentials, or quality — see our disclaimer.
