Bulk NPI validation
Upload a list of NPIs and check each one against public CMS NPPES records at once.
This tool is not available yet. The description below is what we plan to build. Nothing on this page processes data or performs validation today.
What it will do
You'll be able to upload a CSV of NPIs and receive, for each one, whether a matching public record exists in CMS NPPES along with the NPPES-reported name, entity type, taxonomy, and practice location. This is a record-presence and format check against public data — not a verification of the provider.
Planned capabilities
- CSV upload of up to tens of thousands of NPIs
- Per-row result: present in NPPES (yes/no) + valid 10-digit format check
- NPPES-reported name, entity type, primary taxonomy, and city/state
- Downloadable results CSV
What it will never do
Like the rest of Dr. NPI Search, this tool will work with public CMS NPPES records only. It will not verify licensure, credentialing, board certification, clinical quality, sanctions, insurance network participation, or whether a provider is accepting patients.
