Watch specific NPIs and get notified when their public NPPES record changes.
This tool is not available yet. The description below is what we plan to build. Nothing on this page processes data or performs validation today.
What it will do
You'll be able to add NPIs to a watchlist and receive a notification when our next CMS NPPES refresh shows a change — for example an updated address, taxonomy, or a change in record status. Monitoring reflects public administrative changes only.
Planned capabilities
- Add NPIs to a watchlist
- Detect changes between CMS NPPES refreshes
- Email notifications summarizing what changed
- Change history per watched NPI
What it will never do
Like the rest of Dr. NPI Search, this tool will work with public CMS NPPES records only. It will not verify licensure, credentialing, board certification, clinical quality, sanctions, insurance network participation, or whether a provider is accepting patients.
